Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
Preamble

At its inception in 1998 itself, SYED AMMAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE offered the undergraduate programme (B.E.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with an intake of 40. In 1999, the intake of Electronics & Communication Engineering was increased to 60. In 2005, the intake was further increased to 120.

In 2012, P.G. programme M.E. VLSI Design, with an intake of 18 was started. In May 2016, Electronics & Communication Engineering Department has applied for Research Centre to Anna University, Chennai.

Department Vision

"To contribute the quality Engineers to the society by making students powerful and employable in Electronics, Communication and Computer technologies"

Department Mission
