GULLY POT MONITORING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM |
ABSTRACT |
In the present scenario pollution has a greater impact towards environmental crisis. Themajor part of the reason behind this is sewer and gully pot leakages, blockages and theirimproper disposal. In this project a low cost and power efficient system has been designed, developed and implemented to provide adequate warning by monitoring the gully level and incase of any blockage and leakage. This system consists of the gully pot unit which has atransducer, a controller to monitor the gully level. This information is then transmitted to thecommon collector called as a controller, which collects the similar information from all suchgully pot units. This information is then processed and loaded to the server which is in turnviewed by a browser. The sewer line is continuously monitored for toxicity, leakage andblockage by the system till the sewer disposal end. This gully pot monitoring system is morereliable, low in cost for implementation and maintenance, power efficient. It provides a safegreen environment. |
